According to Section 97 (10) of the Study and Examination Regulations:
a) the institutional study guide contains the part of the final examination and their brief description,
b) the final examination questions must be published on the website of the Directorate of Education no later than 45 days before the exam,
c) the dates of the final examinations are published on the website ot the Directorate of Education, and the invidual schedules are communicated to students through the NEPTUN TR system.
The information about the final exams in the autumn semester of the academic year 2025/26 is the follows at Károly Róbert Campus, Gyöngyös:
The theses only need to be uploaded to Neptun system, it does not have to be submitted in printed version in the spring semester of 2024/25 academic year.

Regarding the preparation of the thesis, you must always consult with your consultant!
The thesis only need to be uploaded to Neptun system, it does not have to be submitted in printed version!

Registration for the Final Exam: September 29 - october 17, 2025
Please register for the final exam even if you are not sure that you will be able to attend, but you see a chance that you will fulfill your study and exam obligations related to your studies – all subjects prescribed in the curriculum - in the autumn semester of the 2025/26 academic year!
Conditions for registration for the final exam:
- active or completed (absolved) student status,
- the student has no overdue payment obligation.
Name of the final exam period: KROC Final Exam Period for Programs of Gyöngyös (December/January) 2025/26/1
Final exam period: December 8-19, 2025 and January 5-16, 2026
The exact schedule (specific day and committee) will be sent 1-2 weeks before the final exam.
Diploma thesis upload deadline to Neptune: November 4, 2025, 12.00 (noon)
Diploma thesis late submission deadline to Neptun: November 11, 2025, 12.00 (noon)
In case of late submission, an additional fee of HUF 14.450/week will be charged simultaneously!
Deadline to request thesis admission: information later
Exam period for final exam students: November 3-22, 2025
Final certificate (deadline) (deadline for completing all study and examination obligations): November 22, 2025
Graduation Ceremony (expected date): JFebruary 6, 2026
Conditions for admission to the final exam:
a) existence of a final certificate (absolute),
b) submission and acceptance of the thesis,
c) the student is not entitled to reimbursement, damages or other fees the inventory items of the University, including items borrowed from the library have been handed over
IMPORTANT!
- The student must request acceptance of the paper in NEPTUN TR / Studies / Thesis / Start request for acceptance.
- Formal and content requirements of the papers can be found above on this page under “Regulations for preparing the thesis/portfolio”
- All information regarding the upload to NEPTUN TR – including the required file name format of the paper and the forms of the declarations – is contained in the currently issued description and on the oig.uni-mate.hu website (see above). Uploads must be carried out according to this information.
- In the originality declaration, under the section “Department,” the department of the supervisor must be indicated. The department affiliation of supervisors can be found in the Mate phone directory.
Thesis Confidentiality:
According to Section 95 (6) of the Study and Examination Regulations, the student may request the confidentiality of the paper. Such a request must be submitted no later than 30 days before the submission deadline.

Confidentiality entails a payment obligation of HUF 25,000.
The completed and signed request form must be placed at the beginning of the paper – directly after the cover page. The original signed copy must also be submitted to the relevant study administrator.
